NEW! LESSON & ASSIGNMENT ORGANIZATION
Online/Virtual Education: The New Normal
A normal school day consists of a student attending their classes, taking notes, and receiving homework assignments to complete at home with announced due dates. With online/virtual education, teachers will make due dates clear, but it will simultaneously require students to take initiative to organize their assignments, due dates, testing dates, and much more for every class they are taking. This can be very stressful, especially for students who have difficulty with organization and self-initiative to complete assignments.
How A+ Skills Can Ease This Process for Students and Parents
A+ Skills now offers Lesson & Assignment Organization sessions. These sessions will occur two days per week, either Monday and Wednesday OR Tuesday and Thursday, with a member of our management team. Each session will be scheduled for 30 minutes. During these sessions, our management team will determine assignments students need to complete in each class, organize them by due date, and have a second weekly check-in to make sure assignments are being completed in a timely fashion. The second weekly session will also look into new assignments and due dates to complete for the following week. After your session, your organizer will e-mail you a report with all the information discussed for both student and parent records.
So, what really is A+ Skills Tutoring’s goal with this service?
For students, our goal is to make this transition as easy as possible for you!
For parents, our goal is to take away the stress of assuming a teacher’s responsibility of keeping your student on track with their assignments and grades.
A+ Skills’ Lesson & Assignment Organization sessions will keep students on top of their assignments and ensure timely completion of assignments by simply following our guidelines and holding up your end of the bargain: completing your assignments!
Of course, we will continue to offer our one-to-one tutoring sessions online to assist you in any subject areas needed, too. Just let us know if you need more personalized tutoring sessions for specific subject areas!
