SAT/ACT and College Admissions Coaching Scheduling & Cancellation Policy - PLEASE READ CLOSELY!

I. COMMITMENT AND DEDICATION: (1) SAT/ACT prep should be considered a TOP PRIORITY COMMITMENT for the duration of your five to seven-week program, regardless of other commitments like sports, clubs, and jobs. (2) Students should be ready to dedicate a minimum of four to six hours per week to your program, including session time. Please check the box to acknowledge that you have read, understand, and accept this policy.

II. SCHEDULE LOCK-IN AND PAYMENT: Upon setting your schedule and completing payment, our office will email a copy of your selected time slots, which are LOCKED into our schedule. This commitment RESERVES THOSE SPECIFIC TIMES for your child, making them unavailable for other students seeking SAT/ACT prep sessions. III. SCHEDULING CHANGES: (1) While we will make efforts to accommodate scheduling changes, SCHEDULING CHANGES ARE NOT GUARANTEED due to limited availability, as our schedules are built around initial requests for all students and families and are regularly at full capacity. If we are unable to accommodate your request, THE STUDENT IS EXPECTED TO SHOW TO HIS OR HER ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED SESSION TIME. If the student does not show, the sessions will be CONSIDERED A NO SHOW AND FORFEITED. (2) Scheduling changes can only be requested by parents–not students. Parents must provide a minimum of 48 hours' notice for any scheduling change requests to provide us adequate time to try and accommodate your request. Again, your request is not guaranteed, and there are no cancellations accepted for SAT/ACT prep programs. Please check the box to acknowledge that you have read, understand, and accept this policy.

IV. MISSED SESSIONS: If your child fails to attend a scheduled session, the session is considered a no show, is forfeited, and cannot be made up. No refunds or rescheduling options will be provided for missed sessions. No exceptions will be made to this policy. V. TUTOR ABSENCE OR OFFICE CLOSURE: (1) In the event of a tutor’s absence or office closure due to inclement weather, our management team will contact you promptly. Available make-up options will be provided, and every effort will be made to accommodate your schedule. (2) If you are unable to reschedule to available make-up times, the missed time will be held on file and can be applied towards any program of equal or lesser value. For programs of greater value, the difference in charge will apply.

VI. POLICY ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND AGREEMENT: It is essential for both parents and students to review and understand this policy before enrolling in our SAT/ACT prep program. By enrolling, you acknowledge and agree to adhere to the terms outlined in this scheduling and cancellation policy. You also understand that we do not guarantee specific test scores or increases, as results will vary based on student commitment and dedication to their programs both in and out of our office. We appreciate your commitment to your child’s education and look forward to assisting you in their test preparation journey. VII. By enrolling your student in our SAT/ACT prep program, you acknowledge the importance of ensuring that your child completes all assigned homework. Our tutors provide excellent instruction, but meaningful score improvement relies on students engaging in independent study. Without parental oversight and commitment to homework completion, assessment progress may not accurately reflect your child's capabilities. Please note that A+ Skills Tutoring will contact parents only ONCE by phone regarding incomplete assignments. All future communications about homework incompletion--including this first complimentary phone call--will be documented on your child's progress reports. SAT/ACT Package Selection

SAT/ACT Package Selection Disclosure: Based on our 20+ years of experience tutoring SAT/ACT exams, A+ Skills highly recommends our Standard (14 Hour) Package for all SAT/ACT students to acquire necessary conceptual and strategic knowledge required of standardized exams. If you select our accelerated package, please recognize that it offers a more intensive and fast-paced learning experience for our SAT/ACT students. It's important to note that lessons will be taught at an accelerated pace, potentially impacting reinforcement and practice opportunities to fully master concepts and strategies. We recommend understanding your child's learning style and readiness for this intensive approach, as some concepts may require additional time. Our goal is to provide the best learning experience, so please consider the implications and discuss with our team to ensure it aligns with your child's needs and goals.
