NEW SCHOOL YEAR BEGINS AT A+ SKILLS TUTORING SERVICE™
As the new school year begins, CAMP SAT has a full class of college bound students who are going to improve their college choices by getting higher SAT scores. Additional classes are scheduled for November and March to coincide with the other important testing dates. Also, we are conducting One-to-One sessions for SAT candidates with particular needs or who wish to develop their writing skills or academic skills in a more personal manner.
Not to be overshadowed, our elementary student population is also back improving their skills. Mathematics, Reading and Spanish are particularly popular this year as many parents are focusing on the need to improve the “basic” skill set of their students. The development of “basic” skills in the elementary grades leads to greater success in the middle school and high school years – the sooner the better!
A very important skill that is often overlooked at all levels is Academic Organization. DO ANY OF THESE ISSUES SOUND FAMILIAR!!! Student notes are not organized when it comes time to study or homework assignments are disorganized. Or perhaps – what do I do first and did I bring the right books home to do my homework — are just a few of the organizational skills that must be learned if your student is going to be successful.
