TIME TO CONSIDER HOW TO IMPROVE
IT’S TIME FOR VACATION! It’s also time to reflect on the past year and to consider how to improve your student’s academic performance for next year. Yes, of course take a trip or go fishing or any one of the activities that your family enjoys but you will be surprised how fast August will roll around with school not far behind!
After taking a few weeks off, many of our clients are planning to “jump start” the new academic year with tutoring in their students’ tougher subjects. Consider the “feel” and what a difference it can make – your student starts the year with confidence – the teacher asks some questions the first week – and low and behold – your student confidently answers them while other students squirm in their seats. Your student(s) impress the teacher (first impressions are important) – and they impress themselves – all because they had a few private tutoring sessions during the summer as a “jump start” to the upcoming year. WOW – WHAT A DIFFERENCE!
Your student may only need a few sessions or it may turn out that they need more assistance. We together – the tutor, the parents, the student and perhaps the teacher – decide on a “Learning Plan” without up-front contractually obligating you for money or time. Let’s see how they progress with our Masters Degreed and highly experienced tutors!
COLLEGE BOUND COLLEGE STUDENTS – it’s SAT or ACT time! College admissions were really tough this past year and it’s not too early to start preparing for this critical exam. We offer One-to-One tutoring as well as our highly acclaimed “CAMP SAT” small group session – starting the week of August 27th. Also, this coming academic year we are offering something new – MINI CAMP SAT’s for student’s who feel that they only need help in one subject area –they can focus on just the Math or the English sections.
And a bit of current events – we are proud – The Naples Daily News recently thanked us for our participation in the highly acclaimed Newspapers in Education Program where newspapers are placed in Collier and Lee County teachers’ hands for classroom instruction – we believe in giving back!
